At North Epping Rangers Sports Club, we are committed to making participation accessible, safe, and welcoming for everyone in our community. Explore the programs and policies below that support inclusion, wellbeing, and protection for all members.
Active Kids Program
Active Kids is a program to help NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sports and active fitness and recreation activities.
How It Works
- Parents apply for a voucher via the Service NSW Website
- Register via the NER registration page for either football or netball
- At the invoice screen, enter your Active Kids Voucher Code
- The system will automatically validate the code and deduct your discount from the total
Important Notes
- Each voucher can only be used for one sport or activity
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances
- If you cancel your registration, we can only refund the remaining part and not the voucher value
- If you transfer to another club, we will transfer the voucher value to the other club
Bursary Program
With a focus on participation, North Epping Rangers Sports Club provides a Bursary Program to ensure opportunities for all community members.
Program Purpose
The Bursary Program aims to:
- Ensure inclusive participation for people facing financial barriers
- Enable talent development through football, netball, and tennis
- Promote equal opportunities within the Sports Club
How the Bursary Program Works
Our transparent process ensures fairness and accessibility:
- Review the Bursary Program Policy to check eligibility
- Follow the step-by-step application process
- Submit your application to the appropriate section convenor
For queries about the Bursary Program, please reach out to your Section Convenor for Football, Netball, or Tennis, the Club Treasurer, or any Club Committee Member.
Family Discounts
The NER Family Discount is an optional club-based registration discount available to families registering multiple members for winter soccer and netball competitions. After all registration fees are paid, families can redeem either a discount for the third and subsequent registrations. To request the discount, review the policy for further information.

Member Protection
Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO)
The MPIO is the first point of contact for any member or child protection enquiries or complaints. As such, they can provide information and options including policies and complaint resolution options.
Any enquiry or complaint received will be treated confidentially.
The MPIO is not expected to mediate or investigate complaints. These will be managed by a suitable club representative, or where there is a conflict of interest, an independent person with complaint-handling experience may be appointed.
Serious matters will be referred to the relevant Association, State Sporting Body, or Law Enforcement Authority.
You can contact the MPIO with total confidence that your complaint will be taken seriously and dealt with discreetly.
NER Sports Club Child Safeguarding Statement
North Epping Rangers Sports Club is committed to providing a safe environment for all children participating in our activities. We take child protection seriously and have policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.
Contact the NER MPIO for any child protection concerns.
